A great shot it makes me want some chocolate ice cream.
Since you ask for a critique here is what I see.
Vision: you have laid they shot out well by showing just enough of the ice cream to make it fit nicely in either a "rule of thirds" composition the "Golden mean" composition.
Originality: it's hard to say how original a picture is but since I have not taken any good pictures of ice cream I'd say it's original.
Technique: I wish there was a little more depth of field, it's too bad that mint leaves are not in focus. maybe if you you f/8 or f/11 you would've been able to achieve enough depth of field and not too much.
Impact: I wish you could have gotten a dark background to come all the way down and the picture so that ice cream glass of stands out better from the background and create a greater impact.
